Developed and implemented a new marketplace for the main company's website, focusing on offering a flexible travel experience for their customers that include travel options like car holidays, flights, hotels, and holiday homes.

Solutions
Building a marketplace with a CMS and using a framework, create base foundation, compose reusable components, create storybook, build end-to-end tests, collaborating with marketing and UX to enhance the user experience and shape a design system.

Understanding the Problem and Stakeholder Needs
The first step was to collaborate closely with the UI/UX team, marketing team, and product manager to understand the goals and pain points. The challenge was rebuilding a user-friendly marketplace where we could integrate various flexible travel options. Before this I pitched the idea of establishing a strong design system to ensure consistency across all areas.
Collaborated with UI/UX & Marketing
Worked closely with the UI/UX team to help bridge the gap between design and development by clearly communicating how the design system would be implemented. Created Design brief and used Figma to create a comprehensive design system, which I then presented to management to gain buy-in and set expectations.
